Israel
This region sponsors and co-sponsors with synagogues, Israel Action Committees, Jewish Community Centers, Jewish Community Agency and Hillel a large variety of programs supporting Israel in the counties. Supporting Israel is a top priority for the JCRC. Promoting speakers, rallies, and educational events related to Israel are an on-going part of the region’s program.
Political Issues & Action
The Marin Committee has an on-going program to meet with our State and County legislators. Prior to each State Assembly race, we meet with each candidate to build relationships and educate them regarding issues of concern to the Jewish Community. The Region invites a variety of political leaders in the County to address our monthly board meetings. The Marin Committee was an active participant in the “Gifts for Guns” program advocating a reduction in gun violence.
