On October 20, 2010 JCRC hosted the Jewish Community Reception with Candidates and Elected Officials. The reception was an overwhelming success. Close to 100 Jewish community members were joined by 48 candidates and 10 elected officials from the full spectrum of political perspectives and parties.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the Jewish community to get to know the candidates before this important election years, where there were so many issues of Jewish concern on the line. Walking around the room you could hear conversations on topics ranging from the Giants making it to the World Series to local ballot initiatives. Most importantly, you also heard Jewish community members and candidates having conversations about core issues to the Jewish community.
