What is the role of religion in American public life? The head of America’s oldest Jewish seminary, the Reform movement’s Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, joins the president of Berkeley’s Graduate Theological Union along with other religious leaders to discuss seminary education, training denominational leaders in a multicultural society and the proper place of religious discourse in public life.
