Join us for a unique evening of questions, answers and thought with Robert Rubin, an immigration lawyer with the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and PJA Regional Council member and Rabbi Bridget Wynne, Rabbinic Director of JGate. Together we’ll explore Jewish perspectives on immigration, the debate about current immigration policy, and the major issues facing people in the developing world that may influence their decisions to leave their homes and come to the United States to live and/or work.
Hosted by Nelly Reyes, a participant in AJWS service and study delegations in El Salvador and Peru, and an immigrant family advocate in San Francisco since 1991.
Light refreshments provided.
Space is limited — RSVP soon at bayarea@pjalliance.org or call 510-527-8640.
