Welcome the Most Reverend George Niederauer, The New Archbishop to San Francisco

Join us as the Jewish community welcomes the new Archbishop of San Francisco, George H. Niederauer, D.D, Ph.D., most recently the Archbishop of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The program will include an acknowledgement of the 40th Anniversary of Nostra Aetate, which transformed Catholic–Jewish relations, and will feature children’s choirs from Temple Emanu-El and Stuart Hall High School.
Speakers include the new Archbishop and Rabbi Stephen Pearce as well as Msgr. Eugene Boyle, Earl Raab and Rita Semel, Executive Directors Emeriti of the Jewish Community Relations Council, and Catholic Diocese archivist Jeffrey Burns, PhD.
